These Maui farms, ranches, and vineyards provide the community with locally-grown and naturally-raised fresh products, many supplying to restaurants and local markets. Some offer tours of the grounds daily or by appointment, with products available for purchase. From lei flowers to local lamb, Maui possesses an abundance of seasoned farmers and ranchers to support a growing community committed to eating from directly from the source.

ONO Farms – – 149 Hana Highway, Hana, Maui, HI – (808) 248-7779. ONO Organic Farms is a family-owned and operated, certified organic tropical fruit and coffee farm located on the southeastern slopes of Haleakala volcano. The Farm offers a tropical fruit, coffee, and chocolate tasting along with providing a tour of the premises-$35/adult & children under 10 are free. Delivery of coffee and fruit to homes and businesses is available. Tours are available by reservation Monday through Friday beginning at 1:30 p.m. and by special appointment. ONO Organic Farms is certified organic by the Hawaii Organic Farmers Association (HOFA) and a Partner of the Natural Resources Conservation Service (NRCS). Produce at their roadside market in Hana is available seven days a week from 10 am to 6 pm.

Maui Water Lily Farm – 83 North Holokai Road, Haiku, HI – (808) 572-7878
Located just off the Hana Highway, this water lily flower farm was started by a pair of French windsurfers who spend half the year tending to the blooms. The water lilies are showcased in nearby resorts and private homes. The grounds are open to visitors. Fresh plants and homemade organic water lily soaps are available for sale at the gift shop.

This flower farm specializes in growing and breeding orchids. Community pots or “compots” are available for purchase ($40) and shipping at the start of each growing season. Each community pot contains approximately 20-25 plants and they are grown in peat pots. The nursery is open by appointment only.

Locally owned and operated, Hali‘imaile Pineapple Company was created by former Maui Pineapple Company employees who were committed to saving the 100 year tradition of pineapple on Maui. They developed the “Maui Gold” pineapple, which is available for purchase in local grocers and shipping.

For the past 9 years, Surfing Goat Dairy has been raising and producing nationally recognized award-winning goat cheeses. The Farm itself is open to the public and offers visitors a farm tour, gift shop, and cafe, featuring tasty goat cheese dishes. Varying levels of tours are led Mon-Sat 10am – 3:30pm & Sun 10am – 1pm and range from $7 to $25 per person. Their cheese is featured on many local restaurant menus and available for purchase at local grocers. Merchandise is also available online for delivery.

Flowers, vegetables, and native plants are cultivated on this Kula Farm in the shape of a Sanskrit mandala. The nine-acre organic farm and native-plant nursery provides medicinal herbs, flowers, and vegetables to local health-food and garden stores.

A 10-acre lavender farm in Kula, Ali’i Kula Lavender (AKL) is the premier purveyor of unique, quality lavender products on Maui while promoting a sustainability on the Island. The Farm gift shop is open Sunday through Saturday from 9am to 4pm. As part of their Sustainable Aloha initiative, visitors are encouraged to bring their own mug and will receive a cup of tea or coffee from the cafe for free.

The 8.5 acre diversified natural farm is owned and operated by the Pacific’O and I’O restaurants at 505 Front Street in Lahaina. Up at the farm, our lunch tours showcase the beginning of a full farm-to-table culinary journey. Farm tours are available every Wednesday & Thursday from 10:30 to 1:00 at $50/person.

This 7-acre farm in the Ke’eleku agricultural district of Hana grows a variety of tropical fruits, flowers and spices. They also have a selection of added-value products that are available for purchase at the farm or online. The farm is not certified organic, but is committed to using no chemicals on our farm and adhering to sustainable agricultural processes, like composting and permaculture. The Farm is open to visitors everyday from 7am till sunset.

Located in Kula, this family-owned and operated ranch produces Hawaii’s first certified organic beef. In addition to cattle, this ranch grows flowers for private landscapers and hotels. Noho`ana Farm grows taro plants and is located on 2.25 acres of land in Waikapu. Since 2004, the Pellegrino family has researched and developed a sustainable agriculture plan utilizing traditional organic farming practices. The Farm also provides a cultural aina-based (land-based) learning program for the children and families alike.

Maui Cattle company, sources from different sprawling ranches in Upcountry to produce island-grazed beef and grass-fed lamb. Their locally-raised meat is free of artificial ingredients, growth stimulants or antibiotics. Many local restaurants and grocers carry the beef, for a complete list of vendors visit their site.

Located at the Kapalua resort, this farm provides fresh and organic produce to many local restaurants.

This coffee, protea, and fruit farm offers tours of their Kula premises from $7-5. The tour includes a history of the Chinese in Kula country and an overview of the coffee roasting process. Tours run from 9:00am – 3:00pm daily during coffee season (February 1 – July 31). During off season, tours are available by appointment only. Their coffee is available at a number of local markets.

Neighborhood Farm Launiupoko
The quaint Neighborhood Farm produces fresh eggs, fruits and vegetables. A farm harvest list is e-mailed weekly with details about the crops that will be available that week. People on the list e-mail back their selections, which are either delivered or are available for pickup. Delivery is only from Kapalua to Launiupoko. For ordering information, contact Theo at

This family-run five-acre farm in Makila grows fresh vegetables and landscaping plants, available for purchase on the grounds. They are open to visitors Tuesday to Sunday from 8am to 4pm.

Maui’s Winery, also known as Tedeschi Vineyards, is the Island’s only commercial winery. Located on Ulupalakua Ranch, the Vineyard is open daily from 10am-5pm, with daily tours at 10:30 & 1:30. This organic fruit and vegetable farm also produces Maui’s #1 coffee (Hawaii Coffee Association). Kupa’a Farms is available for farm tours by appointment only. The Farm has also developed educational outreach programs and occasionally sells produce at the Makawao Farmers’ Market.
